Well 281 enquiry offices are now being closed. Not very good for the general public quite frankly – it’s rather like the banks – but then again, do they think of us?
Try and get an enquiry answered on the phone, you’ll be messed around, you get numbers to push etc. It’s a nightmare. Nothing like the local enquiry office when you had local people, who will answer questions.
Another mad move from HMRC but there we are.
