Do you have an offshore bank account?
Or any other offshore asset?
Offshore Disclosures
If you have answered yes to either of the questions above then it is your legal obligation to declare any income you earn on it to HMRC.
For a stress free and easy solution to declare your extra income to HMRC, simply follow KinsellaTax Investigations’ 5 easy steps:-
Step 1 – Click here to submit an online tax enquiry form or pick up the phone and call 0800 999 9980 to speak to one of our voluntary disclosure tax experts. They will discuss your situation and arrange a face to face meeting.
Step 2 – Come and meet with one of our offshore disclosure tax specialists at one of our offices. Bring as much paperwork with you as you can so that our experts can see what type of voluntary disclosure is the best for your situation and what approach to take. You will need to sign an HMRC authority form called a 64-8 which allows us to make the disclosure on your behalf and allows HMRC to correspond with us.
Step 3 – We will contact HMRC on your behalf to advise them you are going to be making an offshore disclosure. This will stop HMRC from opening an enquiry into your tax affairs if they were planning to. This will usually take about 21 days and we will contact you as soon as we have had a response.
Step 4 – We will liaise with you and calculate exactly how much income you have earned through offshore assets or offshore bank accounts. From there we can work out exactly how much additional tax you owe to HMRC. We will also negotiate a tax penalty with HMRC which will depend on your co-operation. You will have volunteered this additional tax to HMRC so you will get a lower tax penalty than if they had opened a tax enquiry into your affairs.
Step 5 – Once we have agreed a fair settlement with HMRC you will pay the outstanding tax due (along with interest and tax penalties of course!) and walk away happy!
We have helped hundreds of clients to make voluntary tax disclosures to HMRC, all with happy results.
Mrs B from Liverpool made a voluntary tax disclosure to HMRC with KinsellaTax Investigations and said this of her experience:-
“My sincere thanks to Kevin & Dominic at KinsellaTax Investigations. The fee of an instructive investigation by HMRC frankly left me cold & frightened. My health had deteriorated to the point where I simply would not function anymore. I was totally unaware of how painless the process of making a voluntary disclosure to HMRC would be & will forever be thankful for the day that I picked up the telephone to KinsellaTax Investigations”
